Goal
and Objectives
Objectives
Our objective is to create programs to help improve the quality of life for economically disadvantaged children and families.
Health care is a one of the fastest growing issues - with the greatest impact on the quality of life for many citizens of the nation.
The BAER Project's Health Care Assistance Program was developed as one solution to the increasing number of U.S. residents that cannot afford health insurance.
Goal
Recent statistics shows that out of 1,255,540 San Diego residents close to 600,000 are uninsured, (July 2006 US Census Bureau).
Our minimum local goal is to provide insurance premium assistance to 2% or 12,000 uninsured San Diego residents.
The Health Care Assistance Program's national goal is to support between 100,000 and 450,000 individuals as subscribers. This equals a 0.25 to 1% share of the total current market of uninsured American residents.
